One of the great things about the Moustache Smash board game is that it is easy to learn and play. The game comes with a deck of cards that feature different mustache types, such as a handlebar mustache, a Fu Manchu mustache, and a cowboy mustache. Players take turns drawing a card and trying to grab the corresponding mustache, be it type or color from the pile as quickly as possible using their Moustache wand that is kept positioned in front of their face just below their nose. The first player to grab the correct mustache wins the card, the person with the most cards after the deck is gone is the winner, but if they grabbed a wrong mustache they have to deduct those from their total!
How to Play
- Each player selects a Moustache wand with a suction cup on it.
- Shuffles all of the cards together placing them face down on the table.
- Each player keeps their Moustache raised in front of their faces with it positioned under their nose.
- The youngest player flips the top card.
- If the card is a Moustache that matches either the style or color of your wand you want to be the first to smash your wand down and retrieve the card for your pile.
- If the card you get doesn’t match your need to put it in a separate pile to deduct from your total at the end of the game.
- If the card is a Moustache pass card then each player exchanges their wand with the player on their left.
- If the card is a Moustache Smash card that is a free for all and anyone can clam it to add to their card totals.
- The game ends when all of the cards in the deck have been claimed. The person with the most cards is the winner!
In addition to being fun and easy to play, Moustache Smash also helps kids develop important skills such as hand-eye coordination and strategic thinking. As players try to grab the correct mustache as quickly as possible, they are improving their hand-eye coordination and learning to think quickly and strategically.
